I've gotten three quotes for my bathroom remodel ranging from $9K to $15K. The $15K contractor has great reviews, beautiful portfolio, and seemed really professional. The $9K guy... let's just say I have concerns. Middle quote is $11.5K. 🤔

My instinct is to go with the expensive one because "you get what you pay for" and I don't want to deal with problems. But that's a $6K difference! That's a lot of money I could save or use to upgrade materials.

For those who've done bathroom remodels - where did you find the sweet spot? Worth paying more for the best contractor? Or is the cheaper option usually fine if they're licensed?
