Picking out tile for my bathroom floor and shower walls, and I'm stuck between porcelain and ceramic. The porcelain tiles I like are about 40% more expensive! 💸
My contractor says porcelain is more durable and water-resistant, but the ceramic looks just as nice to me. For a bathroom that gets medium use (not the master), is porcelain really worth the extra money?
Would love to hear from people who chose one or the other - are you happy with your choice years later? Any regrets?
